The benefits
of being a REALTOR® are many. If you are a licensed
agent, we hope you decide to join our Board and become a REALTOR®
member of Asheville's professional real estate association. We
are one of the oldest and largest boards in the State of North
Carolina.
This will take you to a step-by-step explanation
of what you need to do as a new agent
to join the Asheville Board and the Regional MLS.
Mandatory
Orientation: If you are joining as a primary
member of the Asheville Board of REALTORS® and
you are not already a REALTOR®, you
must sign up for an orientation class.
You must attend orientation within
45 days of joining the MLS.
Orientations
through August 2008 will be at the
Capital Bank, 1310 Hendersonville Rd.,
Asheville from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Get
directions. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.
A light breakfast and lunch will be served.

Mandatory MLS Training: All
new agents are required to attend a mandatory
MLS training before they may access the MLS
or purchase a Supra key.

member or an Allied Member.
Download them, fill them out and then call the Board office at
828-255-8505 to set up an appointment to review the paperwork
with Nancy Birmingham.
New agents should have their respective firms fax the MLS paperwork
to the board. OR ... new agents may have their firms follow
this link
to submit MLS information electronically.
We can not grant access to the MLS system until
we have received and processed the information from your firm.
