Course Registration
- You may register for any course on-line, using a credit card, at http://www.abr-nc.com/membership.
- You may also mail a registration form, with check, money order, or credit card number, to the Asheville Board office, ATTN: Education. Please, no cash.
- On-site registration is permitted but not encouraged, due to material and space availability. Walk-ins will only be allowed as materials and seating allow.
- For every course, a minimum number of 20 registrations is required in order to proceed with the course. If the minimum number has not been met by the registration deadline, a course will be cancelled or postponed. If this occurs, all registrants will be notified by phone and email of the cancellation [prior to the course date]. Further, no cancellation fees will be charged to registrants, and their full registration fees will be credited towards future courses.
Attendance Policy
- All courses will start on time. Participants are expected to arrive on time and attend courses in their entirety.
- For NC Real Estate Commission-approved courses, late arrivals will not be admitted. If a participant is denied admission to a course as a result of late arrival, his/her registration fee will be forfeited to Asheville Board of REALTORS® in full. No credit will be given for a future class.
Inclement Weather Policy
- For classes scheduled at the Asheville Board office, please follow the Asheville City Schools inclement weather schedule. If Asheville City Schools are closed or school hours are delayed due to inclement weather, Asheville Board of REALTORS®’s classes will be cancelled or delayed accordingly.
- For classes scheduled at other facilities, such as AB Tech, please follow that facility’s inclement weather schedule. If the facility is closed or business hours are delayed due to inclement weather, Asheville Board of REALTORS®’s classes will be cancelled or delayed accordingly.
Cancellation Policy
- Board policy does not allow refunds. However, credit can be given for a future class if cancellation is received, in writing, at least three working days prior to the start of a course.
- If cancellation occurs within three days of the start of a course, or in the case of a no-show, no credit will be given. In this case, participant forfeits his/her entire registration fee to Asheville Board of REALTORS®.
